San Jose, CA is called Silicon Valley because it is the center of technology with many tech companies residing here. You could easily find a tech job in San Jose back in 1990 - 2000.
However, with the huge influx of Contracted Foreign Workers from India, China, etc...in the past 14 years, finding a tech job in San Jose is getting tougher & tougher. This not only affected Silicon Valley but also affected many other cities across the US. Soon, our jobs right here in the US will be taken over by Contracted Foreign Workers who are getting the same or higher pay than us. Why the government not only allowing companies to outsource jobs to other countries such as China, India, etc...but also outsource jobs right here in the US by letting many Contracted Foreign Workers to come & work here ?
