This petition is to stop websites such as TOPIX from allowing individuals to sit behind a computer and mask themselves and defame, libel and slander individuals causing them harm and difficulties in trying to find employment and also hurting children who cannot handle what is being said in venomous ways about them because they are young and do not have the maturity to grasp living with the hurt. The old saying "Sticks and Stones" is old and words do hurt. What happened to our laws that helped in preventing slander, defamation, and libel from happening? Our forefathers would be angry at knowing freedom of speech is now allowing laws to be broken. Songs, now have been created to help us deal with pain that I am thankful to Train and other groups helping us deal with hurtful words.
