Stop lifetime compensation and benefits to every member of government except for our President and Vice-president. Government employees who have had the privilege of serving the American people should return to their previous professions and work and also obtain benefits the same way the people they impose governmental laws and legislation upon.
Not only would this stop frivolity of laws and legislation, it would save the American people millions, perhaps even billions of dollars that could be used for the reduction of our National Debt.
I believe Americans want the United States of America to belong to America, not foreign countries from whom we have borrowed trillions of dollars. This is a first step toward that goal.
