The US Government is apparnetly on a puppet string for Hollywood and others crying about piracy. Now they are pushing live the "Total Piracy Awareness Program" where they will have the ability to monitor EVERYONE's network traffic.
Oh sure, they claim it's to stop the pirates from robbing them of their money, but let's face it. It's NOT for the good of our country, it's for the good of THEIR POCKETBOOKS.
Let's also face it, who's determining who's pirating vs. downloading something valid.... oh it's HOLLYWOOD.
Do any of you really trust the system to not mess up and "accidentally" put the wrong person on the pirate list?
The military strike against Kim Dotcom for hosting of pirated videos on MegaUpload was a bit extreme, but it's a sign of how the governement listens to Hollywood
