Millions of fish die every year after they are given away at carnivals and fairs as prizes for whoever is lucky enough to win. These fish either die at the carnival in the hands of children who don't understand that they are living, breathing creatures OR they end up in a home that wasn't ready for the responsibility of taking care of a living animal.
