Stop Lobbyists from providing any monetary funding to Congress in exchange for votes.

Created by J.I. on April 23, 2013

The current system of creating laws allows for lobbyists to pay money to Congress in exchange for votes for bills that benefit the Lobbyists employers.

This circumvents the will of the people and says that money buys votes. This is the definition of corruption and must be stopped before any further damage can be done.

Lobbyists will still be able to petition Congress, but with words only. No gifts and no money. This is the only way to ensure that Congress has no vested interests except for the representation of the people and their duty to the United States.
