STOP LOSS OF LIFE POLICE CUSTODY THROUGH CENTRAL RECORDING, REPORTING DATABASE

Created by I.R. on July 21, 2015

STOP LOSS OF LIFE POLICE CUSTODY THROUGH CENTRAL RECORDING, REPORTING DATABASE
Petition to attorney general Loretta Lynch demanding that law enforcement across all 50 states report to a central database the number of black and brown individuals killed while in police custody. With news stories coming out in increasing frequency of young people of African descent dying while in police custody throughout North America, we demand a central recording and reporting system that will ensure accountability and accessibility to the public, so that there can be legal redress and justice for the victims and deter further acts of brutality. We insist that such a database be published by federal law enforcement and updated every 24 hours.
