We need to keep micro plastic out of our waters. anything smaller than .5 cm is micro plastic. Micro plastic can harm fish when they eat.
Almost all beauty products that have a "Natural scrub" is what some call body salt which is really just tiny pieces of plastic. Altho it does have natural salt in it which can dissolve the tiny pieces of plastic can take over a 1000 years just to decompose. Another problem is we can't recycle such small plastic.
If you really want your skin to be nice try growing luffa, there a plant that's like a sponge but doesn't soak up a lot of water, and it feels like micro plastic is it when there is none.
