- Corn is meant to be used as food for humans and animals, not for fuel in our automobiles
- Corn prices remain high due the mandated use of ethanol resulting in higher consumer prices for beef and poultry, dairy products and products made with corn/corn derived additives.
- Suspend ethanol blending at least until alternative types of ethanol from non-food sources is more available (cellulosic ethanol, etc)
- Making ethanol from corn is energy intensive, has a bad carbon footprint and is not good for our automobile engines either.
