Recently, there has been exposure of the disease of mass incarceration of the American People by the justice system proven by the overcrowding of our prison and jail systems. There is a private owned corporation called Corrections Corporation of America that is profiting off this mass incarceration by contracting its services to states but the contract requires a 90% occupancy rate in the prison/jail or the state has to pay the difference. Let us only punish those who deserve it, fairly.
