In December of 2012 the Mayor of Paragould Arkansas along with its Chief of Police declared war on its townsfolk, warning that in the coming new year they would have fully geared and armed S.W.A.T. teams that will walk the streets. Informing its citizens that if anyone is found walking the streets they will be detained and questioned without any probable cause. Using Gestapo tactics is in clear violation of the U.S. Constitution(Articles 1&4), as well as the Arkansas Constitution(Article 2 Section 4,15,21,and 29). Not only are they clearly violating basic Civil Liberties, but having men with fully automatic weapons walking the streets of a small town is an extreme measure to show force. Our rights and liberties should not be thrown away for so-called security.
