stop the media coverage of mass shootings

Created by D.C. on December 16, 2012

Set a date and time to have a conversation about banning media coverage of mass shootings that occur in the United States.
We all know that every time a mass shooting happens in the United States, the media coverage is extensive. Many admit this coverage is feeding ideas to the minds of mentally unstable individuals and creating fantasies that in few, unfortunate cases are being carried out. This information can instead be shared on a "need to know" basis between "authorities".
At the VERY LEAST, ban the media coverage on schools shootings. When I was a child going to school in the 70s-80s, school shootings were unheard of. It stands to reason that these occurances are happening more and more frequently because when you give any person an idea, you give them a foundation to build on.
