The media must be stopped in their efforts to boost ratings on the tragedies of others!
Families deserve privacy during such a horrific period of mourning.
Details about the shooter will serve no one, and no goal by repeatedly airing them. We need not see his, her, their faces!
If media rights are utilized, they must be also be managed, so the feelings of others in these travesties is considered--before their 'free speech,' and our 'right to know,' are exercised!
The government must step in and determine, at what cost we see and know every detail of such events, and take steps to change past and current media dissemination of what some consider 'news.'
There should no longer be days-long broadcasts, repeatedly displaying victims' horror and pain. It serves nothing positive.
