Stop MEDICARE wasteful spending. They send TONS of unnecessary paperwork to Dr's offices that could all be done online.

Created by C.S. on January 04, 2013

With 15 years of medical office billing experience, I have worked with and had to handle pages and pages of unneccessary paperwork sent to us by Medicare. Most insurance companies need only page of paper to explain a refund request, denial of a claim, or send a request for response. Medicare sends in the upwards of 10-15 pages of paper that does nothing to speed up the process. This wasteful spending on paper, ink and postage is all tax payer money. If one office receives 100s of pages of paper in the month, imagine nation wide the influx of spending this creates. Little things count in reducing wasteful spending. When this paperwork is received, aside from the initial page, everything is shredded. More waste in landfills, more waste in spending. Someone needs to streamline this process
