We petition to have the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice halt and prevent the merger of American Airlines and United Airlines. This merger will create an airline "to big to fail", will stifle competition in the industry, harm the consumers in both pricing and service, and encourage further consolidation in the industry. This is a bad business deal for American consumers.
