Comcast, Charter, Cox and Time Warner cable companies have violated the Sherman Anti-trust Act. In doing so, customer satisfaction scores for this industry are at an all time low, while pricing has increased well beyond the rate of inflation. This collusion led to the companies carving out footprints which do not overlap and compete, preventing a competitive market which would produce technological innovation, lower costs and better service similar to that of other advanced nations. While there is a small quantity of regional providers, they are unable to provide comparable service. By definition, this is an oligopoly relationship. We ask the FCC and SEC to investigate violations of the Sherman Anti-Trust Act and to prevent the merger of any of these national providers.
