Stop the Miami Marlins trade and Investigate team Owner Jeffery Loria from stealing money from the citizens of Miami

Created by A.J. on November 15, 2012

Two times have the Florida Marlins/Miami Marlins have held the so called "fire-sale." Two times after winning the World Series. However, The Miami Marlins over a year ago, claimed that with a new $515 Million dollar ballpark, they would increase the amount spent on free agents & baseball players. Owner Jeffery Loria and team management claimed payroll would be increased to be "in line with the rest of the league." Miami freed itself of more than $160 million in future salary obligation by trading for 5 all-star caliber players. Currently the Marlins are under investigation by the SEC for the Shady Ballpark deal funded by taxpayer dollars. Due to the salary dump, it seems that the Ballpark increased the net worth of the team and that all the profits will go to ownership & not a good product
