The DHS currently has a purchase order for 1,600,000,000 rounds of ammunition, five bullets for every person in the country.
Some of this ammunition is hollow-pointed, and thus forbidden for use in warfare by the Hague Convention of 1899.
The DHS is also buying repurposed MRAPs, capable of withstanding mines and small arms fire.
Why is this necessary when we already have five branches of Military to defend the nation? Is the government planning on going to war with its own people?
Stop militarizing the DHS.
