Stop the Military from discarding dogs overseas after military service.

Created by S.M. on October 12, 2012

Military dogs do important jobs and save human lives in combat zones and other places around the world. They risk their lives along with their handlers. They bond to their handlers and their handlers to them. It is morally wrong that our military "retires" these brave animals overseas, turning them into military discards with no transport home, and leaving them awaiting charity to avoid being killed and return home for adoption.

Our military dogs are soldiers, not trash, and they should not be discarded overseas in this shameful manner. Please issue an executive order requiring that all military dogs be transported back to US soil before they are retired, and end this abuse of our four footed veterans.
