Stop punishing military personnel for adultery unless the adultery takes place between one military member and another military member. Military members should not be punished for loving another service members spouse and saving that spouse from an abusive relationship. The least they could do is interview the spouse and take into account how they were being treated, or mistreated, by their military member spouse.
