Recent legislation has enabled Tricare and our Government to create stipulations which force Military Retirees to accept a lessor quality, higher deductible health care option by creating a 40 mile bubble around Military Treatment Facilities (MTF). Being a Military Retiree living in excess of 40 miles from a MTF forces the Veteran who dedicated 20 or more years of Military Service to lose Tricare Prime in leu of the much more expensive Tricare Standard. This is a crime against the Veterans who dedicated their youth to this Great Nation and as the elected President and Commander in Chief it is your responsibility to protect those who protected you. Stop this forced reduction in health care and allow those living outside the 40 mile bubble to continue to receive the benefits they fought for.
