Stop military spending and issue working bills to repair public transportation services in New York City

In New York City, the connecting bridges are in dire need of repair, the streets are riddled with potholes, the subways are filled with rats, public transportation services have been reduced and track repair is long overdue. Tolls and fares have increased significantly and still little is done
If we spent as much time, effort and money as we did in rebuilding and fixing the infrastructure of Iraq, we would certainly be able to rebuild and fix our highways and bridges
I wished we had a good public transportation system.
