stop the misappropriation of public tax dollars for use towards a private birthday party.

I would like to start off by saying, I have no person issue with the First Lady and I wish her a fantastic birthday. However I have read something that disturbs me. It is my understanding that the administration has made plans to hold a private 50th birthday party for the 1st Lady at the White House with stars Adele and Beyonce. While I respect that private funds are being used to pay the singers all other expenses are being footed by the American tax payer. In a time when limited funds have forced private citizens from touring Americas' house how can we justify spending more tax dollars on a private affair? I am not saying we shouldn't recognize our First Lady; but it is my opinion all but security expenses should be paid for privately by the First Family. I appreciate any support.
