Stop the modern-day slavery that is human trafficking in the United States.

Human trafficking is modern-day slavery in America. According to the thirteenth amendment no such slavery should exist in the United States unless it is punishment for a crime; never the less human trafficking, specifically sex trafficking continues to be a major problem.
I propose that the government take action. Deeper investigations, more security at major sporting events (as these are popular events for traffickers) and cooperation with international governments to prevent the trade of human lives across our borders.
Human trafficking is a big problem, and growing steadily worse. I implore our government to take action before our country, once again, becomes a place for slavers.
