Slavery still exists today. Although, it has been made illegal in most countries and all states, it is still happening. There are many organisations that help stop modern day slavery, but we think that there is only one way. We must raise awareness of human trafficking. By 5th grade we had not learned about modern day slavery until we chose this project. In public schools around the country, we ask the Obama administration to teach all elementary school children about modern day slavery and human trafficking so that they can protect themselves from this future.
That is all we ask.
