Stop Mondelez International from importing goods from Mexico and keep the jobs here in America!

Created by J.N. on February 07, 2014

In 2012, Mondelez International removed lines from the Philadelphia bakery and carried the work directly to Mexico. Workers were laid off, and lost their jobs. In July of 2013, Mexico's president announced that Mondelez International would be investing 350 million dollars to build the worlds largest cookie plant. 2 months later (November 2013), Mondelez announced that they would be closing their Philadelphia bakery (one of their oldest). Amidst all of this, Mondelez and their corporate leaders claim they care about their American workers. Claim they are doing this to invest more money in the US.Claim they are doing this shore up their east coast. At the same time, cookie packaging everywhere is being stamped with made in Mexico. I am asking you Mr.President, stop these corporate monsters
