Stop the move of BEA to Census facilities in Suitland Maryland. While this may look good on paper, this in fact is a waste of government funding. The Census Building was constructed less than 10 years ago. The over $331 million dollar facility was created to house all Census employees within one building and alleviate the problem of leasing space due to lack of space in the old building. With BEA moving in, the building is being torn apart literally, and once again Census will be put into the position of leasing space for its employees once again.
This is proving to be a waste of tax payer money and will continue to be for years with expenses uncured for construction and yearly leasing fees.
