In seeking meaningful solutions to the tragedies we have seen such as the one at Sandy Hook School in Newtown CT. We believe that a total comprehensive approach is more intelligent and effective approach than just more restrictions on firearms. We believe that at least free , accessible and quality mental health care for everyone is a must to help prevent these horrible murders from continuing on.
Banning certain firearms and magazines or clips capable of holding over 20 rounds of ammunition and who is given the privilege of purchasing firearms is only be a start. It will not stop those who are truly determined.
Quality, free, accessible Mental health care for all is the first defense in preventing someone from getting to the point of no return and must be included to stop this.
