To stop national retailers (e.g.Target store and Toys R' Us) from conducting Black Friday sales on Thanksgiving Day.

Created by J.S. on January 22, 2013

The National retailers such as Target Stores, Best Buy, Toy "R"Us, and Sear, Roebuck & Co are starting their Black Friday sales on Thanksgiving evening; and not waiting until the traditional 5 AM Friday morning. By conducting their sales on Thanksgiving evening they are causing an interrupting for a special time for American Families'. Additionally, family are being hauled into shopping centre to wait in queues at retail stores so they don't miss on the sales items. For instance, this is causing an absence of family time during a special public holiday. For example, I would much rather watch NFL football game on Thanksgiving evening with love ones and friends, than be standing in a queue at a shopping centre to save $ 50.00 on LCD TV. In short, please go to the traditional time.
