Stop the needless and inhumane killing of homeless animals in shelters.

Each day thousands of dogs and cats, puppies, and kittens are killed in shelters across the country. The method of death can vary from a lethal injection of poison into a vein, a lethal injection of poison directly into the heart, a mass killing in a gas chamber, or a fatal gunshot to the head. Often times the sole reason for the death of the animal is a lack of space, and has nothing to do with the animal's health or temperament. There is a proven and workable method that some shelters are embracing and they are succeeding at becoming No-Kill shelters. We urge that ALL city/county run shelters adopt a similar method and immediately halt the abusive and compassionless murder of our domesticated and faithful companions. They have a Right to Life!
