After watching the news reports and coverage of all of these cases of murderers and mass shootings I have come to the conclusion that news agencies are partially to blame for repeat actions/similar situations as those that are televised. People who commit these horrible crimes are made into media stars as though they are movie stars and as if they deserve attention. I ask the White House and the Obama administration to create a ban on releasing the names and faces of the people who commit these crimes so as to discourage, in part, of committing copycat crimes of similar or greater size. They are viewed as important instead of being viewed as the monsters they are. The ones who should be made important are the victims and their families.
