Stop Nintendo's Derogatory Depiction of Italian/Americans

Created by G.P. on February 15, 2016

For decades Nintendo has been depicting Italian/American's as stereotypical brick layers or pizzaiolas. Whilst being Italian is tertiary to the game, Nintendo continues to use Mario and his family to depict Italian/Americans in this way (i.e. low level professionals). As a game targeted to the nations children, Nintendo is teaching America’s youth to perceive Italians as less skilled people than other American communities.

We call upon President Obama to address corporate degradation of Italian/Americans and stop this prolonged defamation.
