North Cross School in Roanoke, Virginia will soon be installing a new security system to prevent a school shooting. The new technology will be very expensive and not very effective. This "security" system will not prevent or stop a shooter, just "delay" one. We should all stand up to this decision and call for a more effective method of school protection.
We are all very aware of the dangers that burden our society. Sandy Hook was a terrible tragedy, an to prevent another massacre from occurring we should push for better means of safety.
