The President needs to stop the NSA, CIA, etc.. from monitoring ALL of the US's telephone/internet traffic. Firstly, it is a violation of our 4th amendment rights as US citizens.
Secondly, it is a waste of money. The amount of money being spent on preventing terrorism could be better spent on reducing car accidents, cancer research, etc... More lives will be saved that way, than by preventing terrorism.
"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."
