Stop Nuclear Treaty Talks with Iran Immediately, unless it is authorized by the Senate

Created by E.B. on March 15, 2015

According to the Constitution of the United States of America, Article II, Section 2, "[The president] shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; …." (bold face mine)

Barack Obama had been secretly holding talks with Iran, until it was discovered. After the discovery The Senate sent a letter to Iran, basically stating that any agreement would be only between Barack Obama and Iran. Whether people believe that the Senate was right or wrong, there is one issue: These Nuclear Treaty talks are clearly a violation of the Constitution, which Obama sworn to uphold, because he is by-passing the Senate.

We petition that Obama cease the talks immediate, until which until he is authorized the USA Senate
