Stop the Oil Trains from traveling through the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. We do not want the risks to our Gorge nor our lives to be jeopardized. When they derail as they have in Canada killing 45 people or in Virginia, spilling into their waterways. There have been several derailments across the country. When an oil train is derailed it explodes into flames. It will take out homes within 1/4 mile radius, the flames can start unimaginable forest fires under the right conditions. There is no good answer to carrying this oil safely. The Bakken oil sinks in water so clean up would be a nightmare if it spills into a body of water with typically high winds.Bothe\ the Bakken & the Tar Sands Oil are highly combustible & in any tanker double hulled or not.
