The United States is giving over $50 Billion US in foreign aid. Though 50 Billion is a small number in comparison to the national debt & the spending that the United States does every year it will help with actually balancing a budget. I understand the reasoning for foreign aid (humanitarian, defense, foreign relations,..) but we need to look within. For humanitarian if US citizens have more money they will give aid to causes around the world. For Defense if you move half of that to the military budget we would have the strongest military again. For Foreign Relations most of the world already hates us and we give them money, will they hate us more if we don't. Lastly think of what that money could do for the United States more money for education, roads, job creation & the value of the $.
