The Marta board of directors voted on Thursday November 5th to Outsource its Mobility service. This is the service that disabled and elderly citizens of Atlanta depend on for day to day transportation to all types of destinations work, school,doctors. Outsourcing this service would result in diminished service for patrons who have no other method of transportation. It would also result in potential job loss for over 300 dedicated and and wonderful drivers!!!! Marta says the move will save them a substantial sum of money a fact that they have not been able to prove. The citizens of Atlanta simply cannot afford to have this crucial service outsourced.
