Sadly, the unconditional support for Israel in our government is one of the very few issues where both the Democrats, and Republicans can commit to, regardless of the atrocities committed by Israel.

All this support for Israel stems directly from the willingness to pander to the Israeli lobby (AIPAC), one of the most powerful lobbies in Washington, who receives direction from a foreign government, and seems to be only concerned with Israeli interests, not American's.
The unconditional support for Israel greatly damages America's credibility internationally.
