There is a huge problem in this country with patient dumping. Healthcare providers are dumping patients and slandering them to other providers and have been doing it for decades, and no one is speaking out or doing anything to stop this unethical, unprofessional practice, which hurts all patients, especially the millions of patients like myself who are on Permanent & Total Social Security Disability and low-income, thereby qualifying as dual-eligibles for both Medicare as primary, and Medicaid as secondary (and some like myself who are SLMB, not QMB, must meet Medicaid spend-downs, which I always meet.)
Any provider or facility that accepts Federal and/or State monies from Medicare and/or Medicaid should be prohibited from harming patients in this or any other manner.
