Republican members of Congress are once again holding our economy hostage because they cannot defund the ACA. They are again placing the American people at risk. If the government shuts down because of their actions, or lack of, they will still get paid. Any other American would lose his or her job if they wasted time on the clock or caused an economic calamity. Members of Congress are paid BY the American people, yet they have failed to serve us and our country over the past several years. Why should they continue to get paid to cause destruction in our nation and play Russian Roulette with our economy? It is time to STOP them from receiving a paycheck if the government shuts down!! If the American people don't go to work, they don't get paid, and neither should Congress!
