Every time there is a financial budget issues, social security, education and military pay are the first things threatened to have their spending cut. How about we cut the salaries of the people in charge who are making the rules and spending the money that is causing the lack of funds. How quick would we get out of this problem if they were threatened to not get paid instead of the people who risk their lives everyday, the future of our country or those who have already given for decades? Let the people making 100k+ a year worry about how they're going to pay this months bills instead of the already poverty level citizens.
