STOP PAYING LAWMAKERS IF THEY'RE NOT WORKING.

Created by S.L. on March 03, 2015

Most people don't get paid by their employer when they don't show up for work or do their jobs, or receive paychecks long after they've left the company - it should be no different for Congressmen. We must stop giving lawmakers wages when they're not working, whether it be not showing up in the halls of Congress for a session day or vote, or giving them a salary for life after they've left Congress. No lawmaker should be paid when they're not at their jobs (there should at the very least be fines for every missed day or vote), or they're no longer in Congress.
