stop paying wages and expenses of Senators and their staff until they hold a hearing on the SCOTUS nominee.

The Senate judiciary committee's refusal to consider the proposed nominee of the President to replace a deceased justice of the Supreme Court is a violation of their Constitutional duties and sets a dangerous precedent. By claiming recent history as their guide they have denied the President his choice of a replacement and effectively stated he has no power to make such a nomination based upon the length of his remaining term in office. If this process is allowed to play out other Presidential duties and powers could equally be relegated to his replacement. If the Senate declines to fulfill its duty it should be deprived of all wages and benefits to its members and their staff.
