Stop payment of $3 Billion dollars from FCC to CenturyLink until company can deliver services their customers pay for.

Created by T.L. on March 27, 2016

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has awarded CenturyLink, $3 Billion from the Connect America Fund (CAF) to provide broadband to 1.2 million rural households in 33 states.

CenturyLink has oversold internet services to communities across the nation and cannot provide the speeds customers pay for. Many customers pay for Broadband yet receive intermittent or near dial-up speeds. CenturyLink informs customers of their placement in "Permanent Bandwidth Exhaust" with no intentions to fix the problem. Rather than repairing current infrastructure, CenturyLink continues to expand.

This is a petition is for the White House and FCC to immediately stop payment to CenturyLink until this company can redress grievances currently shared by thousands and thousands of their paying customers.
