Stop people on food assistance programs from purchasing premium cuts of meat and name brand products .

Created by P.D. on July 01, 2013

Create a food assistance program based on dietary staples disallowing the purchase of meats and brand name products that the average working people consider extravagant. Start a program that gives these individuals and their families incentives to work toward a better life instead of supplying them with foods average taxpayers only buy on special occasions. Porterhouse, New York Strips, and T Bones should be considered extravagant and unable to be purchased with taxpayer funded food programs. Grocery stores should set up special sections showcasing non brand name products that provide the same nutrition as name brand products and allow food assistance recipients to shop only in these sections.
