At the age of 17, girls are able to consent to an abortion without their parents consent. This means they have also consented to sex. Please sign the petition asking President Obama to remove anyone from the sex offender registry who had consensual sex with a 17 year old in Florida. These people didn't jump out of the bushes at children and they are persecuted forever with the exact SAME restrictions and stigma as someone like John Couey. They become entirely dependent on their spouse regardless of their skill-set, are unable to get apartments, unable to be employed and are required to have their photo on the web for life. They also have to have a code on their drivers license identifying them as basically a child molester. Consensual sex is CONSENSUAL.
