Petitions may be freedom of speech, however they mostly deal with issues that no one person can control. If states secede from the United States of American then those states will be starting from scratch which is not a good plan. Furthermore creating a petition that asks states to secede is creating havoc in high schools are going insane by the thought that the country that they love and have stayed in are no longer going to be united.
