The United States is one of two countries in the world in which drug companies are allowed to advertise directly to consumers.
Drug companies spent $4.5 billion in advertising to consumers. This influx of revenue has completely taken over the media's willingness to report on issues that are prevalent in our medical system. Our media is unwilling to be the mouthpiece of the people & investigate drug companies when there has been gross negligence and fraud on their part, due to the fact that they will lose advertising revenues.
Please help us stop the financial control that drug companies have over our media and therefore stop the journalistic censorship that goes with this type of bribery.
