Those who are released, and want to become productive members of society are met with roadblocks to employment and the ability to engage in the most basic of human rights. According to Pew Charitable Trusts, one in 106 white males, one in 36 Hispanic males, and one in five black males are incarcerated.
STOP THE PIPELINE TO PRISON develops strategies to CREATE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, JOBS, AND WEALTH for returning offenders seeking a pathway to economic recovery. The petitioner promotes “the whole village” needed to raise a 21st Century American child and seeks to partner with government to engage communities of faith and returning veterans in a National Learn-2-Earn Campaign.
